[LCSILB-8750] — Disbursements created via the Purchase Ledger using a Family Fixed Fee code now appear under the Disbursement tab within the Family Fixed Fee module.
[LCSILB-8787] — Where an anticipated expert fee disbursement has been created for the Family Fixed Fees module, it is now possible, under the Anticipated Disbursement tab in the module, to convert this disbursement as an Expert Invoice.
[LCSILB-8779] — Where time has been added via the Family Fixed Fees module, when subsequently viewed via the Accounts Enquiry screen, Time tab, the billing code can now be amended. This change has also been added to the Disbursement and Anticipated Disbursements tab, making it possible to amend the billing code for these.
[LCSILB-8793] — In line with LSC guidance on Family Fixed Fees, you no longer need to close off level 3 work in order to claim level 4. Both levels can now be claimed together.
[LCSILB-8840] — In Family Fixed Fees module, when a matter is exceptional, the maximum claimable amount is now displayed as the WIP figure, resolving the issue of having to create a manual bill for the correct amount and not being able to archive the matter as there are balances left on the matter.
[LCSIL-947] — When adding an invoice in the Purchase Ledger for a Family Fixed Fees matter, the default billing code has been set to blank to ensure that the user needs to select a relevant code and not accept a wrong default code.
[LCSIL-1035] — When adding a new work type for Family Fixed Fees in Utilities, the system no longer errors when you save the changes.
[LCSIL-1028] — The exceptional case threshold for Family Fixed Fees matters that cover both Level 3 and Level 4 PFLRS work is now correctly calculated as "3 * (Level 3 + Level 4)".
[LCSIL-1030] — In Utilities / Modules / Civil Family Fixed Fees, the Fees tables now have "Date From" and "Date To" columns to ensure the current set of fees are selected. There is also a Contract Type column to show whether the fee is unified or standard.
[LCSIL-1029] — In the Family Fixed Fees module, on the Claim History tab, the "Max Payment" columns of the "Previous Claims" and "Previous FAS Claim" now display the correct maximum payment amount for each of the five different proceedings types (Children, Finance, Domestic Abuse, Care and Supervision, Other Public Law Children) for any claims submitted to the LSC.
[LCSIL-1164] — In the Family Fixed Fees module, when you convert an anticipated disbursement to an Expert Invoice, the anticipated disbursement no longer displays when you subsequently go to the FAS tab to add a hearing and look at the anticipated disbursements from there.
[LCSIL-1155] — When users have added a hearing and included some time and disbursement entries, the claim screen is now refreshing automatically so the true value of the claim can be seen. The user no longer needs to click the Refresh tool to achieve this.
[LCSIL-1074] — On saving when adding a FAS hearing, there is now a validation to test if a Hearing Duration outside the limits set by the current LSC rules has been added. Where this is the case, users are given a warning message when saving. ILB does not prevent users from entering details outside the LSC limits, but it warns them when they have done so to ensure they have entered the required information correctly.
[LCSIL-1051] — When adding a FAS hearing, time entries are no longer included by default. This is to allow the fee earner to select which entries they wish to include.
[LCSIL-1050] — When cashiers enter a disbursement for a Family Fixed Fees matter, there is now a warning icon adjacent to the Billing Code field to indicate that this requires completion. Note: the other required fields now also have a warning symbol as opposed to the note symbol and the Save and Save and Exit buttons are disabled until these fields have been completed.
[LCSIL-1049] — To assist in the correct Billing Code being selected when recording time on a Family Fixed Fees Public Law matter, the Billing Code description for Public Law has been changed from 'Level 4 Other Public Law Children' to 'Other Public Law Children'.
[LCSIL-1048] — When producing a claim, the correct warning message is now displayed if a previous claim has been produced on the matter.
[LCSIL-1047] — When adding a FAS hearing, time, disbursements and experts invoices for children and finance now appear for selection under the relevant tabs.
[LCSIL-1286] — The validation rules have been relaxed to allow a user to add more than one interim hearing or to attach a second court bundle to a new hearing if required. The LSC do allow a second interim hearing and/or second court bundle for a hearing so a warning message displays in these circumstances but they are allowed to save the hearing details if they chose to do so.
[LCSIL-1353] — When creating an Expert Invoice from a disbursement, the Expert Invoice will pick up the correct VAT rate, i.e. the same rate as the original disbursement.
[LCSIL-1402]/[LCSIL-1401] — In the Family Fixed Fees module, it is no longer possible to convert a Counsel Fees anticipated disbursement posting to an Expert Invoice. The Create Expert Invoice is now disabled when you right-click with a Counsel Fees posting selected in the Anticipated Disbursements tab under Costs. Similarly, the right-click Create Expert Invoice is disabled when an Unpaid Billed Disbursement is selected so if the disbursement is cancelled and the 'paid' disbursement created does not cause the expert invoice to go missing from the claim.
[LCSIL-1129] — For Anticipated Disbursements in the Family Fixed Fees module, there is a new disbursement type called "Claim 1A Counsel Fee". Any anticipated disbursements with this disbursement type are treated as counsel fees on the Claim 1A form and not as normal anticipated disbursements. This affects the Counsel Fee total on page 9, and the disbursement list/totals on pages 4 and 5.
[LCSIL-1448] — In the Family Fixed Fees module, having paid a previous claim, the maximum payment figure is no longer displayed as 0.00, but the outstanding, if any, amount.
[LCSIL-957] — When recording time for Letters, on Saving the Time, there is a "Letter is" radio set on the Additional Questions dialog box. This will default to Incoming or Outgoing if you have separate "Letter In" and "Letter Out" time types. If you have one time type of "Letter", the radio set options will be blank for the user to select the right one. The above results in the time recording being split correctly on the Claim 1A form.
[LCSILB-8792] — In the Family Fixed Fees module, under the Costs tab, the Costs column has been replaced with a column providing a running total of the Charge column. This is to make this module consistent with the same tab in the Civil module.
[LCSILB-8765] — The issue of the Family Fixed Fees icon (F) not displaying in the My Cases element of the dashboard has now been fixed.
[LCSILB-8759] — As the SPAN type codes are not valid for Family Fixed Fees work, they no longer display for such matters.
[LCSILB-8807] — When making changes to time recorded for children and finance details in a Family Fixed Fees matter, the gauge now refreshes without having to log out and back in to PMS.
[LCSILB-8856] — The issue where amendments to matter details have been reverting to previous data and users have been unable to save these changes has been resolved.
[LCSILB-8947] — When viewing appointments by venue, the heading 'Provisional' is now spelt correctly.
[LCSILB-8940] — On the Matter Details - Archive Information tab, the Destroyed Date field now allows dates beyond 8 November 2010.
[LCSIL-999] — In the Family Fixed Fees module - Claim tab, the following labels have been changed:
Level 3 Work Details to Level 3 Private Law Details
Level 4 Work Details to Level 4 Private Law Details
Level 4 FAS Only Claim Details to Public Law Details
Also the Previous PFLRS Claims tab has been changed to read Previous Claims.
[LCSIL-951] — In the Family Fixed Fees module, entries in the Time Column are now displayed in hours and minutes so as to be consistent throughout ILB. As such, 15 6 minute units will display as 1:30 (one hour and 30 minutes) and not 90.
[LCSIL-949] — The Accounts Enquiry icon (till) now displays in the Family Fixed Fees Actions menu.
[LCSIL-948] — On the Costs - Disbursement tab in the Family Fixed Fees module, the right hand column is now labelled correctly at 'Net'.
[LCSIL-1228] — The Solicitors Half Fee check box has been removed from the Claim tab of the Family Fixed Fees module as it currently has no function.
[LCSILB-8758] — When producing the first Claim 1A for a Family Fixed Fees matter, the 'Have you made a previous claim?' check box on page 4 is now NOT ticked.
[LCSILB-8757] — When producing a Claim 1A for a Family Fixed Fees matter with time recorded, the time is pulled through to the form but the Date of Heating is now left blank.
[LCSILB-8835] — When producing a Claim 1A form, internal disbursements now have VAT added as required.
[LCSILB-8770]/[LCSIL-10332] — Where a Family Fixed Fees matter is exceptional and for all Other Public Law matters, time entries recorded for Letters and Telephone Calls are now listed on page 9 of the Claim 1A form.
[LCSILB-8771] — In the Family Fixed Fees module, when producing a claim, the system checks to see if there has already been a claim of the same type. If there has been an earlier claim, a warning message displays. The message does not display if the earlier claim has been cancelled or the claim is of a different type.
[LCSILB-8854] — In Document History, moving documents into sub-folders is now working correctly. When documents are moved from the main folder to a sub-folder, only the selected documents are moved.
[LCSILB-8902] — In the Civil Billing module the system now produces the claim form for the exceptional fee where appropriate and not the fixed fee.
[LCSILB-8764] — In the Civil Public Funding page, when selecting "Report", the report now includes time as well as disbursements. Also when you proceed and produce the claim, the correct details are now included.
[LCSILB-8874]/[LCSIL-1034] — When producing a Claim 1A form for a level 4 FAS matter, Advocacy time is no longer included on page 8 as this is covered by the FAS Fixed Fee.
[LCSILB-8839]/[LCSIL-1033] — Time recorded, for Waiting Time on a Family Fixed Fees matter, is now correctly recorded on the Claim 1A form.
[LCSIL-953] — When a Claim 1A form is produced from the Family Fixed Fees module, on Page 9 the bottom section is blank for non-Exceptional matters contains the correct figures where the matter has gone Exception.
[LCSIL-1405] — When producing the Claim 1A form, the disbursements listed on page 5 are no longer prefixed with "****" so they are not queried by the LSC.
[LCSIL-1372]/[LCSIL-1376] — When producing the Claim 1A form, all time (not written off), disbursements, expert invoices and hearings are included and totalled in the correct boxes on the form to ensure that the correct remuneration is received from the LSC for the work carried out. The system only includes the time and disbursements which have not been billed or claimed previously when calculating the parts of the claim. This is also reflected in the Legal Aid ledger.
[LCSIL-1370] — When producing the Claim 1A, any Counsel fees now appear on Page 4 of the Claim 1A for non-exceptional cases.
[LCSIL-1351]/[LCSIL-1295] — When producing the Claim 1A form for an exceptional or public law matter, if there are more than 33 time entries to be listed on Page 8, a warning message displays to this effect so the user is aware that they need to add the additional entries manually. The total box on Page 8 includes all entries, not just those on the form itself, so the fee earner can claim for the correct amount based on the work carried out.
