1        If “Travel > 25 miles each way” is checked (i.e. over 25 miles each way) add £32.04 to the claim. Exceptional travel may be claimed for any hearing in any Category of Case, for all hearings, advocates meetings and conferences. It excludes disbursements. The mileage and reason must be entered.

A        The Settlement fee6 may only be claimed:

B        In finance cases that settle at the FDR and the advocate has materially assisted in that settlement

C       There must have been a genuine settlement e.g. one party dying does not count

D       The settlement must be recorded in the form of a Consent Order approved by the Court, at the hearing or afterwards

If the criteria are met, all applicable bolt-ons may be claimed for a single hearing.

The amount which can be claimed represents the sum of all the above which apply.
