How to use this field
Name
The organisation's name. Initially uses the Name entered on Add New General Contact when the record was created. You can edit the name.
Registered Name
You can record the registered name of the organisation, if different to Name.
Registered No.
The organisation's Company Registration Number, if applicable.
VAT No.
The organisation's VAT number, if applicable.
Industry
The industry that the organisation operates in.
To change the Industry, click 
and on Assign Industry, click + to expand categories in the tree structure, or double-click category headings, to find the new industry.
Sub Types
Select the type of organisation; for example sole trader, private company, and so on.
Click 
to select from the list.
Source Campaign
If the general contact's relationship with your firm is a direct result of a marketing campaign, you can record this here.
Campaigns are set up in the Marketing module.
Receives Marketing
The organisation will not receive marketing material via the optional Marketing module unless this checkbox is selected. By default, the checkbox is not selected, to comply with the EU Privacy Directive.
