Deleting a document

Provided you have the appropriate permissions, you can delete a document via the Document History tab that appears on various ALB screens, for example:

Client Details

Lists documents that have been saved with the client record.

Matter Details

Lists documents that have been saved with the matter record.

Module Screens e.g. Conveyancing Details

Lists documents that have been saved with the matter module record.

You can also delete documents from the Document Management application.

Permissions that enable you to delete documents are set up by the system administrator in Utilities - Licensing and Users.

To delete a document:

  1. On the Document History tab, or on Document Management, right-click the document and select Delete. The document is deleted from ALB.
