Nominal Transactions

Nominal Transactions displays the transactions for a period or year that you have double-clicked on Nominal Enquiry.

On Nominal Transactions you can...

Narrow down the list of transactions displayed, or search for a particular transaction, by using any of the search criteria fields on the left, and then clicking Refresh. (The Transfer field relates to the Transfer To column)
Click a column header to sort the transactions by that column
Choose whether to Show Reversed Postings or Hide Reversed Postings – click
View the nominal transactions as a printable report – click Report menu and select Nominal Transactions
Export the nominal transactions list to Microsoft Excel – click Report menu and select Export to Excel

Nominal Details

The bottom right pane of Nominal Transactions, Nominal Details, shows details of the nominal that the currently displayed transactions relate to. This pane is not editable as nominals are maintained by the system administrator, in Utilities - Accounts.

Fields to note:

Reset refers to whether the nominal resets to zero at the beginning of each financial year. Reset is therefore selected only for Profit and Loss nominals.
Security refers to whether this nominal has been set up to only be visible to users that have been given permission to access secure nominals. Permissions are set up by the system administrator in Utilities - Licensing and Users.
