This is always the first process actioned for a debt matter. It is split into 7 processes; Commence debt recovery, Letter before action, Review Debtor response, Review response to LBA, Debtor has offered to pay by instalments, Instalment offer, Client instructions regarding offer, Review Client response. 1.1 Commence debt recovery
This process allows you to select if you want to time record, view help messages and if you want to correspond with the Client using email. It also collects information about the debt and allows you to enter details regarding the outstanding invoices. It allows for a maximum of 40 invoices and collects information regarding the due date, any part payments etc.
1.2 Letter before action
This process generates the Letter before action, to be sent to the debtor(s), posts time and generates another document to accounts to charge for the LBA.

1.3 Review Debtor response
This process enables you to review the Debtor's response to the LBA. It is split into 4 processes; Review response to LBA, Debtor has offered to pay by instalments, Instalment offer, Client instructions regarding offer.
1.3.1 Review response to LBA
This process captures the Debtor's response to the LBA and progress to the next process dependant on the response.
1.3.2 Debtor has offered to pay by instalments
This process allows the offer of payment by instalments to be logged and the Client notified. It also posts time and sets a reminder to ensure the issue is chased up in the event of the Client not responding.

A) Instalment offer
This process enables you to send a letter to the Client providing details of the proposed instalment offer.
B) Client instructions regarding offer
This process captures the Client's response to the instalment offer.

1.4 Review Client response
