Limitation tasks

Limitation tasks are the same as standard tasks, but they are also displayed in the Individual Classic view in the calendar. This view shows all appointments, tasks, and limitation date tasks for the selected user. Limitation tasks appear under Limitation Dates.

To indicate when limitation tasks are due, they are colour-coded. This enables you to see at-a-glance when tasks are due to expire. The following colours apply:

• Blue. Indicates that tasks are due to expire in 3–6 months.
• Green. Indicates that tasks are due to expire in 1–3 months.
• Amber. Indicates that tasks are due to expire between 1 week and 1 month.
• Red. Indicates that tasks are due to expire in 1 week or less.

Unless limitation tasks are completed, they will be moved automatically through the coloured stages described above. If limitation tasks are due to expire in 1 week or less, then they also appear under Outstanding Tasks.

Important Limitation date tasks must have a matter assigned to them.
