Searching for topics
Another quick way for you to find information is by using the Search
pane. The full-text search allows you to search every topic in the Help
system for a particular word or number. It's different from the index
because the index contains keywords or phrases that may or may not be
included in the actual topic. Full-text searches only find topics containing
the actual word or phrase that was entered in the Search field.
To search for a topic:
- Click the Search
button on the toolbar. The left pane displays an search input field.
- In the Search
field, type a word to find and press Enter
on your keyboard.

- All the pages in the Help system containing
the word you typed are listed in alphabetical order in the left pane.
- You can also specify that
your search terms are highlighted in the results and how many
results per page to find.
- Single-click a page in the list to display
it in the right pane.
Note It
is possible to search for numbers (i.e. 0-9).
