Calculate a Land Registry fee

Use this procedure to calculate a Land Registry fee on an ad-hoc basis for purchasing matters.

To calculate a Land Registry fee:

1. In Conveyancing, on the Favourites tab, click Calculate Land Registry Fee.
2. In the Task Pane, complete the following:
• Does the firm do their registrations online? (Read-only) Preset to Yes or No depending on information supplied elsewhere in the workflow.
• Is the property on registered land? Select Yes or No.
• Property purchase price. Type the value of the property.
3. Click Next. The appropriate Land Registry fee is displayed.
4. Click Next and then Finish.
