Diary permissions

Administrators can grant permissions to various aspects of diary usage. These are available on a per-user basis in Utilities: Licensing and Users. They include:

• Access to diary reports
• Adding appointments and tasks
• Deleting appointments and tasks
• Editing appointments and tasks
• Enabling diary syncing (only applies if using Exchange integration)

Hiding users from the diary

Although users can be given diary permissions individually or as part of a group, they can be hidden from the Select Users drop-down. As a result, they can continue to use the diary, but other people will not be able to see/select them.

To hide a user from the diary:

1. In PMS, click My Profile on the ribbon.
2. When the User Details screen opens, on the Notifications & Diary tab, deselect Show User In Diary Application.
   • Administrators can also select and deselect this option in Utilities.
3. Click OK to save your changes.
