Case summary and milestones
This displays cards with information relating the current status and
progress of the selected matter, including:
- Milestones
- Actions
- Updates
- Team
- Documents
To view the matter summary:
- In the Search
screen, click View for the
desired matter in the Summary
column.
- When the Summary
screen opens, you will see the following panes:
- Milestones.
Shows the details of the related workflow processes or agenda
steps, with a visual timeline to indicate which are completed,
in progress, or not started. Visual indicators:
As well as the indicators, the date of the last action and the
percentage of the milestone completed is also displayed.
- Actions.
Displays published screens. Where appropriate these can be actioned
by the client, i.e. a screen displays for the client to enter
details. These are displayed in:
- Red
where they are still to be actioned with an Action button
to start the process. The date the screen was published is
displayed.
- Amber
if in progress with an In Progress button to continue. The
date of the last update is displayed.
- Green
if completed with a Completed inactive button. The date the
action was completed is displayed.
- Updates.
Displays processes marked as updates. Agendas also display as
updates.
- Team.
Displays your firm's contacts who have been assigned to the matter
along with their role, e.g. Fee earner, Supervisor. If one person
has two roles, their name will display once with both roles displayed
in brackets. Where a URL, work telephone number and email address
have been entered, these will also displayed. Clicking the:
- URL
will display the web site in a new tab.
- Telephone
number will call the number, if you are viewing from
a mobile.
- Email
address will display a new email addressed to the person.
- Documents.
Displays a list of documents, which have been marked as Make Public
and shared with the client or contact logged on. These can be
downloaded by the client by clicking on Download.
Note
- Agenda items show as milestones
if there is no master process attached.
- If there is a workflow attached,
actioned agenda items show as updates along with the workflow
process which have been marked to be shown as updates.
- Where multiple modules are attached
to a matter, they show as separate entries on the search page.
- Scroll bars display in the cards
when there are more items than can be displayed at once.
- If there are no items in the Actions,
Updates or Documents cards, a message displays confirming
this.
- Administrators can restrict
which cards users see. This is achieve by giving the roles
permission to the cards in System Administration.
