Setting critical notifications

Notifications are created with a default status of Non-critical. However, you may wish to increase the level of importance to Critical. A critical notification will automatically "pop" the associated note or undertaking text when switching the context for which a critical notification exists. For example, if you search for a matter in the Matter List and a critical matter notification exists for the matter, it will instantly appear.

To set a notification as critical:

  1. In the Notifications tray, right-click the desired notification and click Critical. The notification icon changes to a red circle with an exclamation mark to indicate its severity.

  1. (Optional) Repeat as required, as all notes and undertakings can be marked as Critical.

  2. The critical notification(s) will now "pop" automatically when switching context. When "popped", the Critical Notifications dialog box opens. This shows all critical notifications for the current context and displays:
