It's a good idea to periodically save your work as you design your pages. This is especially important if you are working on the same page for a long time. You are automatically prompted to save a page when you close a page or attempt to open another one, if changes have been made since it was last saved.
The first time a page is saved you must select the folder in which you want to save it, enter a file name and a description. When pages are then subsequently saved this information is not required as it is already known where the page is stored and what it is called. You can also save a copy of an existing page to a different folder and/or with a different name.
To save a new page:
Click the Save button . You are prompted to select where to save the page and to enter a name and description.
You can also click Save on the File menu.
Under Page location, use the folder structure to select where the user page is to be stored.
Under Details, enter the user page details:
ID. Internal system reference, e.g. MyClientPagev1. Not displayed to users.
Display name. The name displayed by the system when referring to page, e.g. Client - Additional Info.
Click OK. The page is stored to the appropriate location.
To save an existing page:
Click the Save button . The page is stored to the appropriate location.
You can also click Save on the File menu.
To copy and/or rename a page:
On the File menu, click Save As. You are prompted to select where to copy the page, to rename it, and/or to enter a new description.
Click OK. The page is copied to the appropriate location and the original retained.
Notes
The description entered for a page is used to display the page in the list of user pages, not the name.
Avoid using these characters with file names: \ / : * ? < > | # " $ & [ ] '.
