Storing your digital dictation login details

Anyone wishing to use the digital dictation software must store their login details so they can login to the provider's software. The Digital Dictation tab in Profile Manager holds this information.

To store the login details:

1. Open Profile Manager.

• To open Profile Manager, right-click the Legal Office icon in the System Tray and click Edit Profiles.

2. Select the Digital Dictation tab.

3. Under Login Details, enter the User ID and Password for the current user.

• If BigHand has been set up to run with hooks into the Windows Active Directory, then the current Windows login details are used. Where this is the case, the login details here should be left blank.

4. (Winscribe Only) Under Program Path, you can use the Path field to override the location of Winscribe's software which has been entered in System Configuration. See Setting up the provider.

5. Restart Profile Manager in order to pick up the changes.

Notes

• The Digital Dictation tab always shows the currently selected provider's name in brackets, e.g. Digital Dictation (Winscribe).

• The Digital Dictation tab is only displayed when a provider is selected in System Configuration.
