Administrators can configure Legal Enterprise to display a certain page when users log on. This can be set for individual users (user level), for all the users associated with a particular user group (group level), or for the whole firm (system level). This is useful for automatically redirecting users to specific pages, websites, or URLs as soon as they log on. The page (home page) can be any system or user page in the software.
To set a user level home page:
Use this procedure to set a default home page for individual users. This takes precedence over group and system level home pages.
Open User Security and click the General tab.
Tools > System Setup > Security > User > General tab.
Select the user for which you want to set a home page.
Under Home page, in the User level field, type or lookup the name of the page you want to set for this user. The page can be any system or user page.
If you do not wish to use a home page at user level, then tick Do not use home page. This overrides the home page settings at user, group, and system level and displays the last page visited.
If a home page is not specified, then users are redirected to the last page they visited (providing a home page has not been set at group or system level, in which case these take precedence).

To set a group level home page:
Use this procedure to set a default home page for a user group. This takes precedence over a system level home page.
Open Group Security and click the Group Details tab.
Tools > System Setup > Security > Group > Group Details tab.
Select the Group for which you want to set a home page.
Under Home page, in the Group level field, type or lookup the name of the page you want to set for this group. The page can be any system or user page.
If you do not wish to use a home page at group level, then tick Do not use home page. This overrides the home page settings at group and system level and displays the last page visited (unless a home page has been set at user level, in which case this takes precedence).
If a home page is not specified, then users are redirected to the last page they visited (providing a home page has not been set at system level or user level, in which case these take precedence).
Click Save to store your changes.
To set a system level home page:
Use this procedure to set a default home page for the whole firm. This is overridden by group and user level home pages.
Open System Configuration and click the General tab.
Tools > System Setup > Configuration > System > General tab.
Under Home page, in the System level field, type or lookup the name of the page you want to set for the whole firm. The page can be any system or user page.
If a home page is not specified, then users are redirected to the last page they visited (providing a home page has not been set at group or user level, in which case these take precedence).
