Installing PDF995 (optional)

PDF995 is a PDF printer utility as well as printing Laserform Desktop to PDF; it allows you to do three main things in Laserform Desktop:

1. Print out a PDF Proof document
2. Save As PDF
3. Email as PDF

You can use other PDF Printers to print to if you just want to print the Laserform Desktop itself, you just won’t have the advanced functionality stated above.

In order to use the PDF functionality of Laserform Desktop it will be necessary to install PDF995 as per the following instructions:

1. Browse to the Products folder on your CD or download.
2. Open the PDF995 folder.
3. Run the autosetup which will silently install the necessary PDF995 components for PDF creation in Laserform Desktop. This will be a silent install and should take less than one minute.

Note As of Laserform Desktop 9.7.3, Laserform Desktop now incorporates a licensed version of PDF995. If you have previously installed an unlicensed version of PDF995, you will be required to uninstall this and follow the steps in Installing PDF995 to obtain a licensed version. Please note that PDF995 will only be licensed for use in Laserform Desktop, and if it is used in conjunction with other software you will still receive the sponsor pages.
