Reinstalling obsolete forms

Once a form has been made obsolete, the Forms Library Online Verifier will offer the chance to remove it. If you chose to do so, occasionally a user will need to do additional work on the obsolete form and it will need reinstalling temporarily.

Tip You can also open old form versions.

1.  In Laserform Desktop, go to Tools: Options: Paths and make note of the LForms path.
2. Browse to this location outside of Laserform Desktop and open the Obsolete folder.
3. Copy the file(s) you need to reinstall and paste these up a level into LForms.
4. Switch back to Laserform Desktop and open Admin: Rebuild Default Explorer.

Caution If the Customise forms explorer option is ticked in the Admin menu, then select Rebuild customised explorer instead so that you don’t lose any customisation.

5.  Allow to complete and this process will reinstall the form(s) in Laserform Desktop.

To uninstall the form(s) again, run your Forms Library Online Verifier and select to remove the obsolete form.
