Services

In ALB, services are those organisations that you use regularly, for example solicitors, estate agents, counsel and so on. Once services have been added to ALB, their details are available to all users and can be attached to any matter.

• Services: Organisations with whom the firm corresponds are recorded as services.
• Service Contacts: Individuals employed by services are recorded as service contacts.

When you add a service's details to ALB, you can define a contact at that service. Further service contacts can be added as necessary via the Service Contacts tab.

If there are additional details about a service that relate specifically to an individual matter, you can add these when you select the service for the matter, or at a later point.

You can use the services details held in ALB as an address book, to look up phone numbers, addresses and so on.
