Notifications are reminders of notes created against contacts, matters and accounts, and undertakings created against matters. When a note or undertaking is created, an icon instantly appears in the Notifications section of the software's desktop. The associated notes can then be viewed quickly and the level of importance of notifications can also be set via these icons.
The current context determines which notification icons are displayed. In addition, where the importance of a notification has been increased, the icon changes to indicate its severity and the associated notes are automatically "popped" when the appropriate screen is displayed.
