Printing a form

Press Print form to print the current form.

A print dialog is displayed, allowing you to select which printer to use, whether to print all, the current, or selected pages, and whether to print double-sided (duplex).

You may also choose to use the form’s setting for duplex (double-sided) printing, or to turn duplex printing on or off.

If this form has one or more continuation sheets, you may choose whether or not to print them.

If the DMS Reference number print option has been enabled then it can be de-selected by amending the DMS Reference checkbox.

Form hints

Some forms provide you with hints and prompts when the form is opened, closed or printed.

Select Admin: Form hints and prompts Tools: Options and untick the hints you do not want to view. The hints will reappear once you exit and re-launch Laserform Desktop.

Compatability

Laserform Desktop is compatible with all printers that work in a W2000 or XP environment and use Windows compatible drivers (up to date drivers may be required). This includes most LaserJet and Inkjet printers available in the market place, although we do not recommend the use of Dot Matrix printers. It is worth noting that the print quality from older Inkjets printers may fall beneath the standards required by the various Authorities. Therefore, we recommend a minimum print resolution of 300DPI for finished forms.

Note A small number of the forms we supply do not fit within the printable area limits allowed by some DeskJet printers. Whilst we are aware that such limitations can exist, we are of course obliged to supply forms that comply with the specifications of layout and content as defined by governing bodies. If you do experience problems with DeskJet printers, please do not hesitate to contact Technical Support to determine whether the form is supported by your hardware configuration.
