Using expandable forms

Expandable forms are accessed via the Laserform Desktop Forms Explorer. They are identified by an "e" after the form's name, e.g. "LRTR1e". Select the required form from the menu, and simply double click. Microsoft Word™ will open and the form appears as a standard Microsoft Word™document.

The forms are protected in certain areas, to help prevent the accidental amendment of required text. Use the mouse rather than the TAB or (arrow) keys, to switch between the ‘fields’. The use of TAB can have various effects on forms (access areas that are unwanted, skip fields that are required and also can push text over the page). Also, when using arrow keys some fields are skipped, some "stick" and users can enter text into unwanted areas. Use of the mouse alleviates all these difficulties.

As the form is a Microsoft Word™ document, if you make a mistake, click Undo.

Once complete, you can save the form in the normal way a Microsoft Word™ document is saved, or print the form in the same way a Microsoft Word™ document is printed.
