Legal Enterprise provides a mechanism for recording the granting of undertakings against matters. This lists all recorded undertakings, any of which can be edited, copied or deleted. Adding undertakings involves, recording a description, an authorising fee earner, a date and a financial value for the undertaking. Undertakings are discharged by recording the date and amount of discharge. All live and discharged undertakings are displayed for the selected account.
To add an undertaking:
Under Matter in the navigation pane, click Undertakings.
Click Add. The fields are cleared for input.
Enter the undertaking details.
To clear any changes made, click Reset.
To cancel the process, click Cancel.
Click Save to add the new undertaking.
Note
Notifications are automatically created when you add undertakings. These act as visual reminders of comments made for undertakings created against matters.
